The same cannot be said for the American crocodile which, although stable in the environment, is still considered threatened in the U.S.

For this reason crocodile hides from other parts of the world are utilized. Some crocodile hides come from Southeast Asia but the primary source is from Central and South America where farming has proven highly successful for the restorration of the species and created an abundant food source as well as exquisite hides. Proper farming techniques help create better quality hides with less scarring and abrasions. In our production we utilize caiman crocodile hides because their medium size creates a more unique pattern on our small accessories. For this reason each piece has its own distinct look.
