Launched in 1992 by artist, designer and entrepreneur Timmy Woods, Timmy Woods Beverly Hills is focused on creating innovative designs that appeal to women with a broad range of interests and lifestyles. Inspired by primitive carved wooden boxes she found at a market in the Philippines, Timmy sees these hand-crafted wooden handbags as a fresh statement in fashion and as sculptured pieces of art. All items you see here are hand-crafted, collectible handbags carved from fallen Acacia or white pine trees and lined with silky bengaline. Each bag is hand-made taking 30 days or more to complete. All markings are part of the natural grain of the wood. Each handbag has a shoulder strap, which can be tucked neatly inside in order to carry your handbag as a clutch bag. Wear them, or even use your collection as a decorative art piece in your home! Timmy's bags are carried and collected by celebrities including Liz Taylor, Diana Ross, Joan Lunden, and Melanie Griffith. In addition, her bags have been seen on television shows including, Sex And The City, Friends, Drew Carey, King of Queens, West Wing, That's Life, Dharma & Greg, and in the movie Princess Diaries.
